Real Estate Beginnings
David Lichtenstein began his career as a real estate investor with a humble $89,000 property investment in 1986. As the first in his family to launch a career as a real estate entrepreneur, David found early success and added several apartment buildings to his portfolio. Founding the Lightstone Group
In 1988, David Lichtenstein founded the Lightstone Group, a New York based real estate firm currently with regional offices in several states. This entrance into the office market added strength to the Lightstone Group's portfolio during a time of slow market recovery.
